Intention to Study

This template can be used for capturing a student's intention to study in the event that they haven't already confirmed their enrolment. It provides an easy way to capture responses, enabling admissions teams to plan their efforts.

Setup guide

To apply this template in Pendula, simply select a scheduled flow and set this to run on a daily basis, we generally recommend sometime between 9am-12pm. This means that each day, it will only pick up the relevant enrolments based on the criteria specified below:

Because we want to send the flow prior to the Semester start date, we will filter students whose Semester start dates are before the scheduled flow time. To do this, use a date formula such as <selector>TODAY()-DAYS(x)<selector> and replace x with the number of days in advance you'd like the send the flow.
Enrolment Status <selector>equals<selector> 'Letter of Offer' (or whatever indicates that the enrolment is not yet accepted)
Semester <selector>equals<selector> <value> (if you would like to segment this communication to only a specific semester or calendar period)
