Student Welcome Pack

This template can be used for welcoming new students as part of the enrolment process. It provides a way to deliver content via both SMS and email simultaneously, in addition to following up in the event of a bounce or failure.

Setup guide

To apply this template in Pendula, simply select a scheduled flow and set this to run on a daily basis, we generally recommend sometime between 9am-12pm. This means that each day, it will only pick up the relevant enrolments based on the criteria specified below:

Because we want to send the flow prior to the Semester start date, we will filter students whose Semester start dates are before the scheduled flow time. To do this, use a date formula such as <selector>TODAY()-DAYS(x)<selector> and replace x with the number of days in advance you'd like the send the flow.
Enrolment Status <selector>equals<selector> 'Accepted' (or whatever indicates that the enrolment has been Accepted)
Semester <selector>equals<selector> <value> (if you would like to segment this communication to only a specific semester or calendar period)
